Computer Network

What is computer network

A computer network is a group of computer systems and other computing hardware devices that are linked together through communication channels to facilitate communication and resource-sharing among a wide range of users. Networks are commonly categorized based on their characteristics.

There are 7 type of computer network

1.BAN (Body Area Network)

In a Body Area Network, also referred to as a wireless body area network ( WBAN) or a body sensor network (BSN), is a wireless network of wearable computing devices.

7.SAN (Storage Area Network)

In a Stroage Area Network, network which provides access to consolidated, block level data storage. SANs are primarily used to enhance storage devices, such as disk arrays, tape libraries, and optical jukeboxes, accessible to servers so that the devices appear to the operating system as locally attached devices.
